| Mardi Gras 2008 |
| Mardi Gras coincided with Sydney's 100th day of school. The kids in her class had a project of making a t-shirt with 100 of something on it. She decided on dinosaurs. Then the kids got to show off their handy work to the rest of the school during their celebration for Mardi Gras. |

| Wearing masks and waving flags, every kid and teacher in the school lined the short (dead-end) street as a truck with a trailor hitch inched its way up and down the street. Inside the bed of the truck and the trailor sat the older kids who tossed beads, play coins, and noise makers to the kids cheering and dancing on the sidewalks. |
