Thanksgiving
Mere's parents and aunt made the trip from Florida to Arkansas for the holiday. The arrived on Tuesday evening and after a quick dinner, we all headed to Sydney's gymnastics class. LOL!! But they loved watching her and she loved showing off for them. On Wednesday, we did all the shopping for the feast we would be preparing the next day.

The prep work started early on Thursday. And Sydney was Grama's big helper.

Then Sydney helped make the pineapple rice pudding (notice that she actually put the paci down to help, LOL! She was actually getting ready to lick the lid of the whipped cream).
Later, they made the green bean casserole.
Here, they washed the butternut squash to get it ready to put in the pot to boil.
Everything cooking - potatoes, turnip, squash, onions, greenbean casserole, and the TURKEY!
Dad carves the turkey while Sydney and Jenn sample a few juicy pieces.
The spread. Let's eat!! Yummy!
After we ate, cleaned up, and rested a little, we broke out the game that Mere's parents brought with them - Sequence. A fun game that we played a lot during their visit.

Mere and her dad started a fire and he kept it going. So later on, we made s'mores. Sydney's favorite part was toasting the marshmallows. She made s'mores for everyone.
Sydney really enjoyed having her Grama and Pepere around for a few days. Here she tells stories to her Grama while they share a bowl of peanuts.
And she loved goofing off with her Pepere.
Later on, Sydney asked Grama to help her with her favorite puzzle.
KISSES ALL AROUND!!!
The day after Thanksgiving, we went to see the Clinton Library.

An exact replica of the Oval Office when President Clinton occupied it.
After we toured the museum, we took a trolley ride around downtown Little Rock. Sydney says "weeeeeee!!" while Grama and Pepere take a look around the city.
